Trained under several instructors in Japanese. Chinese, Indian, Vietnamese and Slav styles of martial arts. Up to date , he has devoted more than 30 years in martial arts.

Attended Karate seminars conducted by the following masters namely Matsio-San (7th Dan Black Belt), Jutaro-noda (7th Dan Black Belt), Siro-asano (9th Dan Black Belt), Mori Khogiono (9th Dan Black Belt), Nishiyama (9th Dan Black Belt) and Khirokatsu Kanadzava (9th Dan Black Belt)

Holder of 6th Dan in Karate awarded by International Federation of WKO.

Participated in the 4th Malaysia Sarawak International Nanyang Wushu & Golden Lion Dance Festival held in 2002 - Champion in Taijiquan Group G and awarded the Master Trophy

Was inducted as Grandmaster of The Year 2003 in the 1st World Martial Arts Black Belt Hall Of Fame in Kuching, Malaysia
