In 1999, he was honoured as Best Chinese Martial Arts Instructor by The General Tao Magazine.

In 2004, he was honoured as World Hung Gar Ambassador to represent the International Hung Gar Kung Fu Association, to participate in numerous Seminars, Tournaments and International events.

In 2005, he performed a demonstration with his 4 students at Memorial Chiu Kow Tournament held in Rome, Italy.
