At the age of 17, he began his martial arts training under the late Steven Raymond Kitson, a military exponent of New Zealand Army Corps |

He, further his studies in Shaolin Kung Fu under the guidance of Grandmaster Sim Poh Ho of Nam Wah Pai Institute, Singapore in 1984 |

In 1998 he, migrated
to Queensland, Australia and joined the Australian Traditional Martial
Arts Association (ATMAA) directed by Doctor Cordia Chu, where he
began his studies in Chinese Healing Arts, Tai Chi, Herbal Medicine
and Exercise Physiology along with promoting schools of Kung Fu
in Australia. |
