Joined the Chinese Boxing Fellowship Miri in 1967.

He is a disciple of the late Grandmaster Kan Oh Hai

In 1975, he was awarded the Certificate of Proficiency by Singapore Chinese Boxing Fellowship.

In 1976, he participated in the 4th South East Asia Kuoshu Tournament organized by Singapore National Kuoshu Federation.

He is 3rd Generation linkage of Shaolin Wuzuquan in the South East Asia Region

He won Champion Title of Men’s Quanshu (Group G) of 4th Malaysia International Nanyang Wushu Festival held in Kuching in 2002.

He was awarded the “Grandmaster Trophy” at the World Top Level Martial Arts Celebrities Demostration Match 2006 held in conjuction with 5th Malaysia International Nanyang Wushu Festival in Kuching

He was inducted World Martial Arts Black Belt Hall Of Fame “Golden Lifetime Achievement Award 2007”
